• Dust and wipe surfaces regularly using a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove everyday dust and marks.
• For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this may spread the spill or damage the material.
• Use only mild, non-abrasive cleaning products suitable for the specific material. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage finishes or fabrics.
• For upholstered furniture, vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust, pet hair, and debris. Fabric-safe upholstery or spot-cleaning machines may be used where appropriate. Always test any cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first.
• If your upholstered furniture has removable covers, professional dry cleaning is recommended to help preserve the fabric's colour, texture, and quality.

General Maintenance

• Avoid placing furniture in prolonged direct sunlight, as this may cause fading, discolouration, or drying of natural materials over time.
• Keep furniture away from excessive heat, moisture, and humidity, including fireplaces, heaters, air-conditioning vents, and damp areas.
• Use coasters, placemats, and trivets to protect surfaces from heat, moisture, and scratches.
• Lift furniture when moving it rather than dragging it to protect both the furniture and your flooring.
• Do not stand, jump, or place excessive weight on furniture unless it is specifically designed for that purpose.
• For upholstered furniture with loose cushions, rotate and plump cushions regularly to maintain their shape and promote even wear. For fixed cushions, gently smooth and reshape them as needed.
• Tighten any accessible hardware periodically, as normal use may cause fittings to loosen over time.
• Keep sharp objects and rough materials away from furniture surfaces to prevent scratches, snags, or tears.
